The management over traditional cabling system only relies on manual operation to update management records. 2.1 Real-time monitor the connection between connecting racks

Cross-linking mode is adopted for iLANSUPEX intelligent cabling system suggested by ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B Communication Cabling Standards of Commercial Building, namely cables on the horizontal (vertical) side and cables on the side of network devices are separating connecting to different connecting racks. The management over the jumper is executed within the connecting rack on both sides.

Intelligent connecting racks and jumpers are applied in iLANSUPEX intelligent cabling system, each port has electrical information. An independent frame is increased on the port of traditional connecting rack to become a intelligent cable connecting rack for intelligent management, so does cable jumper, so the intelligent cable connecting rack and traditional cable connecting rack also can be commonly used, the same as the intelligent cable jumper and traditional cable jumper.

When the intelligent jumper inserts or extracts the port of the intelligent connecting rack, the connecting or disconnecting information and the electrical information of the port will be immediately reach to the management software via the management device, the administrator also can promptly know the variability of network connection and call the police.

In the mean time, when the connection is changing, the new network structure will be automatically recorded by the management software without no missing or delay, etc.

2.2 The execution of the control over work tasks

The another difference between iLANSUPEX intelligent connecting rack and traditional connecting rack is that each port on the iLANSUPEX intelligent connecting rack has a LED indicator light which provides an important basic for the execution of on-site operation, and the former substantially improves the accuracy and effectiveness of on-site operation as compared to the latter.

The administrator can deliver each necessary task (such as, the jumper, etc.) to each management device via the software, and then deliver to the connecting rack. When the operator arrives at the site, he only needs to carry out the operation according to the hint of LED to ensure its accuracy and save a large amount of time.

If the operator does not conduct well, the system will notify the LED to hint the operator, the administrator will receive the information through immediate software alarm; error probability of manual operation is, thus materially declined.

3.8 Connecting cables of the scanner in iLANSUPEX intelligent electrical distribution management system

• For the connection of intelligent CAT6 24-point connection rack:
26-frame port is connecting to each scanner via type B scanner; the scanner of 14-frame port on the connecting rack connects the cable and the connecting rack. The connecting cable of type B scanner connects a plug between two iLANSUPEX intelligent connecting racks and the scanner.

3.9 Control panel of iLANSUPEX intelligent electrical distribution management system

-Connect via the port of the control panel and iLANSUPEX scanner
-Know the operation of technical personnel on system disconnection and connection via the control panel
-For one of three functions of the control panel, the technical personnel know operation requirements according to LED on the connecting rack, and judge specific port operations according to the continuous status or flashing status of LED.

Three major functions of the control panel:
• LED scanning
A. Identify the port connection of the connecting rack matching with LED port
B. Check the correct status of cables from the scanner to the connecting rack and connecting cables of the scanner
C. Judge whether the port is connected according to the flashing status of LED.
• Pre-configuration
A. When the scanner sends the work order and connection task, pre-configuration LED on the control panel will start to flash, indicating the task is desired
B. The technician press two activated processes on the control plate
C. LED flashing again on the connecting rack means jump connection process
D. The flashing status of LED is automatically adjusted according to the correction and wrongness of the operation, until the technical finishes the work
•Manual scanning
The port on the connecting rack can be manually scanned via the control panel, and then is transferred another required port.
